Recreation River User Course
This course is an introduction to moving water and the hazards on the river. We recommend this course to anyone who has bought a craft such as a packraft, inflatable kayak, canoe, stand up paddle board or any other craft that can be used on a river.
On this course we will teach you basic rescue techniques, how to identify river features, swimming techniques and correct practice on the river to better your understanding.

Basic Whitewater Packrafting Course
This two day course is aimed at packrafters who are looking at taking their craft from a flat water environment to a moving and whitewater environment. On this course we will focus on being an effective paddler on the river and rescue techniques. Included on the course will be how to move efficiently around the river, such as paddle strokes, ferry gliding and eddy in and eddy out, river hydrology and hazards, white water swimming techniques, throw bagging, self rescue, shallow water techniques, foot entrapments, personal river gear - the pros and cons and river communication. If there are any other aspects you would like to focus on we can look at including this on the course.

Advanced Whitewater Packrafting Course
On our advanced whitewater course we aim to progress your personal development in a packraft. This course is aimed at those of have either taken part in our basic whitewater course, or something similar. We will focus on more technical rivers and more advanced rescue techniques, with the ability to customise the course to the group.
